The Ferrari f355 was made from 1994 until the end of 1999. It replaced the Ferrari 348 and was, in turn, supplanted by the Ferrari 360. The f355 is a mid-engined, rear-wheel driven, 2-seat piece of chain lightening. This model saw the engine displacement increased to 3.5L and features 5 valves per cylinder. The engine is quite a bit more powerful than the 348. The car is pretty common, for a Ferrari, with a total production run of a little more than 11,200 units. The f355 was launched in two styles. The Berlinetta coupe and the targa topped GTS. The convertible Spider was added in 1995. The paddle shift semi-automatic transmission was added in 1998.
